Brands To Watch

Key brand movements this week, and what it means for future activity.

Why: Think Renewable entered sponsorship this week with Cronulla Sharks in a deal including Playing Shorts assets through to 2027.

Context: The brand positions itself as a national solar and battery installer with electricians across Australia. It will show up in a contested solar category, with NRL/NSW activity from SIP Energy, VoltX Energy and Nectr.

So what: As a national brand committed to sponsorship for at least 18 months, Think Renewable might consider a partnership in another State, Sport or Season to maximise its reach. A Victorian team would help compete with the likes of 1Komma5 (Geelong) while a summer presence would help compete with Green.com.au (Sydney Thunder).
