Brands To Watch

Key brand movements this week, and what it means for future activity.

Why: Snap Fitness was added to Perth Wildcats portfolio this week (detected by Scout tracking, not publicly announced at time of publication), replacing Revo Fitness.

Context: Gym is currently the hottest sponsorship category.

Snap Fitness was historically a leading investor in Gym sponsorships, with mid-Tier deals with Brisbane Lions (to 2022), Melbourne Stars (to 2023) and Netball NZ (to 2024). It returned to sponsorship in 2026 with Official partnerships spanning Sydney Kings, Melbourne United, Basketball QLD, Western Force and more.

Today, competitor Revo Fitness has top tier partnerships with 36ers and Glory, while VIVA Leisure and Anytime Fitness play in AFL and NRL, at higher entry points.

So what: Snap Fitness portfolio leans heavily on basketball, and still sits behind competitors for sponsorship spend. An AFL or NRL Club deal would help compete during winter; at levels of investment closer to its competition.
