Our Pick

GWM signed a three-year renewal with the One NZ Warriors, as the car brand continues its rapid growth in NZ and Australia.

GWM’s sponsorship portfolio in the region has broadened alongside its growth. Earlier investments included the World Surf League in 2022 and AusCycling from late 2023, providing natural lifestyle connections and platforms for activation.

More recent partnerships have focused around high-reach teams, including Sydney Thunder/Sixers and a multi-year partnership with Richmond Tigers from 2026.

The Warriors partnership has delivered on both fronts, with the highly successful Wahs selling cars Fieldays activation; alongside reach in NZ, plus NRL heartland States in Australia.

The Tigers partnership with GWM Australia complements this well, delivering high share of sponsorship into Victoria and the AFL-skewing States. More sponsorship investment in the summer would help GWM retain an always-on presence through the year.
